The working weather vanes are made of beautifully painted
cast aluminum which never rusts. The instructions included with each weather vane
provide easy installation. Mounting brackets and screws are included. Everything is included in the picture except for the wooden base. Cable and hardware to ground your vane are
not
included.
The weather vane will come as pictured. Options are available in the dropdown box to upgrade the plastic "ball" to a glass ball. (The plastic "ball" refers to the part located above the N,S,E,W directional piece.) Many people have asked; the manufacturer has never had complaints from the glass balls breaking from hail.
The pictured weather vane is a Modern Hampshire Hog. They also will paint Duroc, Poland China, Yorkshire, or Market (Jasper) markings on the ornament. No extra charge for this. At this time, I do not have a photo of any of these, but descriptions are below. If you want your vane painted differently than what is pictured, please email us.
Modern Duroc - all red
Modern Poland China - white with black spots
Modern Yorkshire - white with gray on rear back and one ham
Modern Market (Jasper) - all white
