    Description

    A large, long purple crepe silk (aka chirimen silk) Buddhist temple curtain. The lotus flower motif would be a symbol / crest for the temple. The kanji lettering is most likely the name of a place. Notice the gold thread around the lettering.
    It's 107 inches long x 36 inches wide.
