Japanese Ajiro Kinchaku bag for use when wearing Kimono...
This bag is unused and is in perfect condition with no stains or issues of any kind.
It is made of heavy cotton fabric in a lovely traditional shibori print.
It has red cord ties and
a
woven,
natural rattan ajiro bottom.  It is fully lined in pink fabric and very nicely sewn.
Made in Japan
It measures about:
9” or 22cm long
6” or 15cm wide
7" or 18cm tall

This is one of a huge lot of ‘vintage’ Japanese bags that we have
acquired. They were stock from a shop in Kyoto that sold kimono accessories… Most were produced from the 1980’s to present…

Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
