Vintage Japanese Chrysanthemum Brocade Clutch Bag for Kimono Kitsuke: Mar18B
This is a lovely Japanese clutch bag for use when wearing kimono.
It is in
gently
used condition with only no apparent discoloration, wear, odor or other detracting issues.
It is made of
stiffened
brocade fabric in various shades of
iridescent
gold/orange chrysanthemum flowers.  It has a snap fastener and is fully lined in salmon pink and includes a lovely little mirror. It has several internal pockets. The lining is clean with almost no signs of use (one tiny brownish spot).
It measures: 8½” or 22cm long. It looks fantastic and was undoubtedly expensive when new. It comes in its original box. Made in Japan.
This is one of a huge lot of vintage Japanese items that we have acquired. Most were produced in the 1960’s - 1980’s but some are newer. Some are unused, like new or have stains or other issues so examine the photos carefully before purchasing to determine the exact condition of this particular item and it’s value to you.

Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
