Embroidered Kinchaku Bag From Aomori
This lovely little Mingei bag is decorated front and back with an ancient type of traditional embroidery from the Aomori district in Northern Japan. It is made of
indigo-dyed cotton with a cord closure and is fully lined
.
It is in perfect condition in its original box with tags and information in both Japanese and English

It measures about:

1½” or 4cm thick

Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
